Is your packaging Recyclable/Bio-degradable?
One of the most important thing’s here at Larah Lou’s is ensuring we’re as eco-friendly as possible. This was a big driver to ensure all of our packaging is either recyclable or bio-degradable.
All of our packaging has been carefully selected and tested to ensure that our products are appropriately protected and preserved to the highest standard.
Our shipping packaging is either recyclable or bio-degradable and all of our boxes, vellum paper and tapes can be recycled with your card and paper recycling. We use packaging peanuts to protect some products, these are plastic free and bio-degradable which dissolve within water.
How do I recycle my wax melt packaging?
Our wax melts are stored in cellulose bags which are bio-degradable. When recycling, ensure to remove the labels and then dispose of the bags within your food waste.
If these are put in with your plastic recycling they cannot be recycled and may prevent the rest of your plastic from being recycled.
How often are restocks?
Full restocks happen once a month, however we may add extra items if there is an increase in demand. Restocks will be announced on the Larah Lou’s social media, to keep you updated.
How long until my products are dispatched?
We aim to dispatch your order between 2-5 working days, during busy periods however this may increase.
How will you send my order?
Orders are sent via Royal Mail First Class to ensure they are arrive as swiftly as they can for you to enjoy. All delivery costs are calculated and displayed clearly within the checkout process.
How do I store my products?
We recommend that our products be stored in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight for them to retain their original condition.
Where can I find your reviews?
Larah Lou’s product reviews can be found on the Facebook page, it is our aim to add them to the website as it develops.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Yes, however please contact us prior to ordering.
What are your wax melts made of?
The main wax ingredient of our wax melts is soy wax.
How do I use the wax melts?
Snap-off 1 or 2 squares or cut the shapes to a appropriate size and place these into the centre of your burner, safely. If you have a tea lighter burner, you will need a tea lighter to heat the wax. Allow to cool before touching the wax. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
How long will the wax melt bars last?
This is dependent on so many factors, but a snap bar can provide you with up to 80 hours of fragrance. Wax scents will last longer if used in an electric burner, but the scent may not be as strong as when using a tea lighter burner due to the temperature difference.
How many wax melt squares should I burn at a time?
We recommend 1-2 squares, dependant on how strong you’d like the scent to be.
How long do your Reed Diffusers last?
On average they last up between 3-6 months, this is dependent on how often the reeds are flipped. We recommend to maintain a steady distribution of scents that they are flipped every 7 days.
